These dancers in this picture did an absolute amazing performance last night. It was so moving I had tears in my eyes.

SHE SIZZLED. HE SMOLDERED. SPARKS FLEW. The Glamorous La Scala Ballet Principal Nicoletta Manni and her partner Timofej Andrijashenko danced Roland Petit's famous "Carmen" at Svetlana Lunkina's "Canada All Star Gala" this weekend in Toronto. She is one of the first ballerinas to remind me of Zize Jeanmarie who originated the role in all her glory, burning the stage every time she stepped on it as Carmen.

Yet one more remarkable achievement of the Canada A-S Ballet Gala--excellence in performance and respect for history.

The Beautiful--inside and out--National Ballet of Canada Star Svetlana Lunkina who is the Artistic Director of the show-stopping "Canada All Star Ballet Gala" with a cast of 17 Special Dancers, performed in Toronto tonight. A standing ovation was given by the entire audience. BRAVA, Sveta!

It was an absolute pleasure to watch all of the dancers last night. The choreography was amazing and the dancers fulfilled each moment to perfection.

As Artistic Director, International Ballet Star Svetlana Lunkina presented the "Canada All Star Ballet Gala" in Toronto tonight with a cast of 17 Extraordinary Dancers from around the World and Canada - one of the most thoughtfully curated and spell-binding galas I've ever seen.
